Thanks Deb! We are getting ready to add another member to our family, one with two legs this time! Merry Christmas to you and your wieners!
Warm regards,

Merry Christmas to you and your family as well, Deb! We are in NJ right now and unfortunately don't get to spend the holidays with the kids. They will be very excited to see us. Here is a recent picture of noodles...

Hi Deb,
Noodles is doing great! Just within the last week she has finally figured out the potty thing. It just happened one day. what a relief to finally be past that!!
She just got home Friday from being spayed. She also had a few baby teeth that needed to be pulled. Overall, she has been an absolute joy. I have attached a couple of updated pics.

No offense taken at all. Any advice you have is always welcomed. Yes, we are trying all of those things, but she still suprises us. She does wonderfully at night. We only have to get up once to take her out, and she makes it the rest of the night. Its during the day that she gets confused. We are also trying to learn her body language, but when she sits it looks like she is getting ready to pee so that could be most any time she is out running around. We take her out after she eats, plays, and naps. The only thing that we can pick up on that is any indication that she is ready to unload is the sniffing. Like I said, I think we were spoiled by Sarge. He was also only 7 weeks when we got him and within a week he was about 90% trained. Like you said though, every dog is deifferent :) Thanks,

Do you take her to the same place every time. Do you give her lots of praise and then let her play for a few minutes outside before taking her in. She may want to only play outside if she figures if she goes potty she will get scooped up and taken in the house. If all else fails when she does good give her a treat.
If I can answer any questions let me know. I can only give suggestions but, you may already be doing all of this, so please don't take offense.

Hey Deb,
We are having a terrible go at getting her potty trained. Sarge was so easy it was almost a fluke. We take her out constantly and she will do business, but not very much. Then we bring her in and she lets loose not 5 minutes later??? Anyway, other than that we are having a ball with her. She has found her bark and likes to use it on Sarge. They play a little rough, but I guess they will have to learn on their own.

No questions now. She is settling in just fine. We were originally very concerned that Sarge might be mean to her, but in reallity she is the one being mean. She attacks Sarge while he sleeps and bites his ears. I know she is just playing. She also attacks the cats if they get close enough. I know that Sarge has asserted his dominance, but she wants to be second in line. She loves to fetch things, and has figured out how to bark. It is the funniest thing to hear that little girl bark! Anyway, here is a pic of her the other day.
