Just thought I'd let you that Ellie is doing great. She is a little sweetie with a little bit of a feisty attitude. Over the holidays I took care of my parents dachshund, Mitsie, for a couple of weeks. When Mitsie finally left, Ellie was so lonely she cried a couple of nights. She got really used to having some company. That's why I'm writing. I'm looking at getting another puppy to keep Ellie company. My mom likes Ellie so much that she would like another puppy too. So I am looking at getting 2 more pups. I would like to get them some time this spring, like April or May. Both have to be females. Mom really likes the black and tan soft hair like Ellie, so one of the pups should be just like Ellie. The other one for me can be any color as long as it is a smooth short hair.
Let me know if you plan to have any litters because I would like to reserve a couple of girls. Thanks.

Ellie went to the vet again this week, she does not like to get shots. She is doing great though, weighs 5.3 pounds and is full of energy.

Just thought I'd write and let you that Ellie is doing great. She went to the vet this past week, she weighed 3.6 pounds. She is really growing fast and get around really well. Can't hardly keep up with her. She has been spending a lot of time with my parents and their dog, Mitzi. Ellie is a great little girl, sure glad that I got her. Thanks.

Just wanted to let you know that Ellie is doing great. She whined a little on Thursday night when I went to bed. It wasn't very loud, but it lasted a long time. On Friday night when I went to bed, the whining lasted only about 1/2 hour, but it sounded like there were 10 dogs out there. But then she just went to her bed and went to bed. Today is much better. She still doesn't get too far away from me, but when I put her down, she goes off exploring. My sister came over a couple of times today to check on her too. Tomorrow Ellie and I are going to visit my sister and her two poodles, then go to my mom's and see Mitzi, that's my mom's dachshund. Ellie is a sweat heart, she is a lot of fun to have.
