Deb, Thank you for your thoughts. I'm so sorry I haven't been in touch. I don't know if I told you but the first night I had Nate I got sick and was sick for three weeks.
Since then, I fell on both my knee caps. They are still sore, black and blue and swollen. Getting old is not agreeing with me!!!
Anyway, enough of that.---- Nate is doing well. We just came back from his second visit to the vet.
Him and Ben seem to like each other most of the time. When Ben doesn't want to be bother he surely lets Nate know.
Well Happy Holidays to you and Roger, also. I wish I could get someone to show me how to send you pictures of my boys!!!
They both said Merry Christmas to you also.

Deb, The kids loved Nate. I decided to keep the name you gave him. I really don't like changing their names.
Anyway, the first night wasn't too bad. Nate woke up every 3 hrs. 2 times during the night. I slept on the recliner in the living room. He was in his crate in the kitchen. When he woke up the 2nd time, he cried when I put him in the crate again. So I took him out and put him on my chest in the chair and there we both slept. When I woke up around 7am, I was soooo sick. I had a bad headache, aches, vomiting and diarheaa. I was on the chair all day sleeping off and on. Nate did very well. I put him on the puppy pad when he would wake up and there he did his business. He has had 2 poop accidents but they weren't his fault. It is hard when you are not feeling well.
Anyway, last night he slept on me in the chair all night without waking up. He'll stay on the floor and play then he wants me to pick him up. I feel a little better today and am trying to move around. He is at my feet crying all the time. He wants to be picked up.
I think I am going to have a spoiler on my hands. I just love him. He crawls up on my shoulder like a little baby and falls asleep.
Ben is coming around. He gets his toys and drops them in front of Nate to play with. They have been jumping at one another. I think all will be fine in time. Well, I gotta go. This little guy is pulling at my pj's.
I will be in touch soon.
Thanks again for being so caring to all the babies!!!

Hi Deb,
I'm sorry I haven't been in touch, but I didn't have my computer working for quite some time & I have just been so busy. I retired in December but with the holidays, 6 grandchildren and Ben, it just seems I never have enough time!
Ben is the love of our life. We think he is the smartest dog around. As soon as I stopped using puppy pads he was trained in no time flat. He loves to run around outside. I have an acre of ground. I have to watch him though, because it seems like he will eat just about anything. He is a real lap dog. If I let him he would sit in my lap all day long. At night he runs in the bedroom and gets under the covers when he is ready to go to sleep. He sleeps right at my back. I could go on and on. We just love him to death. Anyway, enough about Ben.
What are the details about Dugie? Why does is head appear bigger than his body? Does he have any disabilities, how old is he, how much is he, etc. Does he have any particular problems?
I have in mind a couple of people who might be interested.
Hope all is well with you and your family.
Waiting to hear from you soon,

Congrats Deb. Keep me informed and send more pictures when we can see each of them.
Hope you are not getting any of that bad weather out there!
Thanks again for the pics. Winnie
I forgot to tell you Ben said "hello". We just LOVE HIM to death. He is the best thing that ever happened to us.
